Hello every one, I have a question, what is the differences between get in and get on? When you want to enter in the car, plane, bus, etc. Which one do you prefer to use? Which one is correct, get in or get on?

Thursday, January 30th 2020

Generally, if you can stand up in the vehicle, we say get on. If you can not stand up in it, we say get in. So we get in the car or taxi but get on the bus, bicycle, plane, train, etc.

Hi,
it’s been awhile since last lesson.
As always useful and pithy lesson. What will next lesson be about?
Maybe, present perfect? It’d be amazing, especially for me. I find it difficult to use that tense correctly.

Best wishes to everyone who learns English.
Take care and stay out of troubles.
Bye.
