What I like most, was the recipe you gave us about the origin of the English language. About you, being quaint, I don’t agree with you, I think you are more in the Dandy wave. For last, very interesting the difference between quarrel (for friends) and argue (for strangers). Thank you, James.

Hi James ,
I am willing to start learning Engish language. on the site of Engvid.com , there are a lot of video .
A friend advised me to follow your progress. but I am lost where to start .
Is that there is an order to follow for EngVid videos for the same level .

Thanks a lot! It´s been very interesting. In spite of the fact that It was a bit difficult to understand all the words you said, I could get the general idea of your explanations.
Nobody has taught to me the difference between argue and quarrel so far. Thanks James-.

James, if the idea behind this site is to promote a specific English School (BTW, it’s a “.com” not a “.org” website), why do you frequently make fun of your students? Don’t you think it’s a bit disrespectful?
Moreover, IMHO, I personally think it’s better to recommend linguistic studies than to give partial (and potentially misleading) explanations.
Thanks for your time, keep up the good work, and it’s not a big problem if nobody will give me an answer.
Regards.

Mauro

Sorry ,Mauro but we don’t understand. What school is he promoting?
We think that it is not always important to give all explanations. Create curiosity about a topic is very important and it stimulates to increase its study.

    Okay,I have understood that English isn’t a phonetic,but a diagrafical language.

Hi, James, Thank you so much! Great Lessons as always!… I have a “query” about the pronunciation of the word “Finally”, sometimes I think I hear people pronouncing it like “Finely”. Is it just my imagination or in some accent might happen?

Thank you so much! Your are great!
