I got 8/10, the lesson is very useful to me although i am a Vietnamese, the same Brazilians, i think Vietnamese also mistake when pronounce the R and H, ED sound and the vowels, thank you very much

nguyen van long

I thought that she would comment about the “TH” sound. Like the difference between “thin” and “then”. Put the tongue between the teeth is not natural for Brazilians.

It’s really true !
This is one of the most difficult things in English of us Brasilian people !!
I think that you got the correct pronunciation when your ear hear thousand of time the same word ! Because it is pretty subtle.

Dear teacher, first of all, thank you for this class. Was so usefull.
I have a question, in verbs ended with E like: DANCE, DESCRIBE, DESIRE, have we the same end sound? Which of these 3 endings we can use?

I think those so called “mistakes” are of common use in Jamaican english; however, Jamaica`s a english native country. How`s that posible?
I always hear about british, american and also australian accent but don`t even mantion the Jamaican one…

Non wise Denis

All foreing students do this mistake because we dont know yet how to pronouce. Sure in brazil we always pronouce the vowels sounds because ours words are always like that.

I did 9/10. This quiz was really good. Thank you so much. Well, I’m Brazilian. I am from São Paulo city.I’ve worked at school as Portuguese teacher since 2005. I’ve never traveled to Toronto. I’d like to do it maybe when the pandemic ends or get it safe to do a trip abroad.
I heard many good things about Canadian but what city should a visit first or stay, please some suggestions will be great.
