@Quiz: Why we have to say “My city is like modern.” and not “My city’s modern.”? Didn’t you say that if “is like” is already in the question it isn’t needed in the answer?

    You’re correct. The correct sentence is “My city is modern.” You just use “like” in the question form, but not in the answer form.

You used the expression in the moment as an explanation for “would like” which means now. I have learnt that at the moment means now and in a moment means a short time later or soon.
