Hi, James.
I like a lot your lesssons. I like what you teach, and I like more much your way of speaking. My English level is basic, I can understand Internet grammar lessons in general, but I have problems to understand real English (in comparation with academic English), and I found your way of speaking is an intermediate level between them.
I have a question for you: Can you explain (some day) the difference between “to agree” and “to be agree”? Is the same? Is there any difference?
Thanks very much!
Ruben, from Spain

I now can understand now how the whole thing works. I tend to rush into getting lots of new words but I neglect the fully acquisition of said words first. You made it simple and effective. Thank you, and I’ll be checking all your vids!

i want english subtitle for all lesson. Plz ! because i don’t understand all on lesson

trananh

Interesting. I’ve been teaching English for over 10 years and more than 30,000 students. I tell them. NEVER ask WHY!
Why is not important to me but WHEN. WHEN is the better word. When can I use that? What situation? From my asking experience “why” gets students thinking about grammar and other unimportant topics.

I like that James doesn’t use books in his lessons. In my lessons NO BOOKS and NO GRAMMAR. We focus on speaking and communicating.

My students pick up all of the grammar points naturally in conversation. They don’t even realise they’ve learnt it.

Good luck everyone with your English study. It is such an amazing tool!

Marcus

I love u with all my heart !!! <3

It has been a very interesting lesson as always, understandable, useful and easy to “use” the expressions on it, but I ask me if I will be as good as James someday using all the English idioms and sentences that our great teacher explains and tells us because I am astounded by his speedy comments and lovely performances, it’s a great method to learn English listening to James’ lessons. Thanks a lot, teacher James Greer from EngVid, a very entertaining lesson.

angardiobel

Hello James. I would like to thank you for all your efforts. You are for sure one of the greatest teachers. Well,I am a Moroccan lady who adores English.I studied this latter for 3 years in high school and,I have been studying it in university for 4 years. I have always been the first in my class when I was in high school.but that changed when I went to university, because we had to read huge books and discuss hard topic with difficult words.now I find my self lost between, learning the basic that they did not teach us in high school, and following my university courses.I feel I need to learn more things from the beginner level.but when i do I find that it is so easy and I already know those things.but I do not use them in my writing or speaking.also i forget most hard words that I learn by my self.rather that using them I use the easy ones.I noticed that my level is going down instead of developing. please give me an advice to follow, or something to do to develop my English. because I really need that.My FUTURE depends on that. waiting for your answer. Asmae
