Commonly Confused Words in English: TO, TOO, TWO

How we use “to” here and if we get many other likewise sentences, how to interpret their meanings?

I just watched your video on the homonyms to, two, and too, and found it to be excellent, but with one major flaw which prevents me from sharing it with friends and family who seem to have trouble knowing the difference between these words.

In your example sentences, you used commas where periods should have gone, making comma splices. (“My sister likes ice cream, I like ice cream too.” “My sister went on vacation, I went on vacation too.”) Actually, there should have been commas before “too” in both sentences, but I could have lived with those omissions. However, if I share this video with people, it will just make them more likely to continue writing the same kind of comma splices, so I can’t do it, unfortunately.

I’m only writing you in case you want to consider remaking your otherwise excellent video. I see that many of the people who’ve commented on it are not native English speakers, and I hate to think of them learning incorrect punctuation while learning this important lesson on homonyms. I do wish you good luck with your website, because this kind of basic instruction is sorely needed.
