Jack is good at swimming. This is correct.
There are a lot of verbs in English after which we have to use a gerund. Is there only one principle knowing which we can avoid making mistakes — whether we should use an infinitive or a gerund after these verbs. Memorising the entire list of these verbs is a complex task, right?
