Get ready for the most important lesson you will ever watch! Did you know that your success in life is directly related to others’ perception of you? This means that what others think of you is extremely important. Acting in a way that makes people enjoy being around you could mean the difference between you doing well in life or failing. In this lesson, I will teach you about social etiquette, which is a set of social behaviours that are considered appropriate and good. “Good manners” include smiling, knowing when to bring a gift, how to be polite via email, when to make eye contact with others, and more. I will also talk about how to behave in difficult times, like when you are arguing with someone, for example. And for each of these social norms, I will show examples from literature that illustrate proper behaviour. You will be inspired by excerpts and expressions from poetry by Rudyard Kipling.
