Thanks Jon, really good lesson, some new words like “flip” or “whisk”. At last I know what’s mean “tbsp” !!! :) I really like your way of teaching, thank you :)

Hi Jon, question – does word “flip” synonym for adj. “insolent”, “daring”? Or its just next google translator’s misunderstanding?

Thank you

galyna

For me I do not see the connection. I think that your English is good enough that you do not need to translate. I always tell my students that – if they can – to use an English to English dictionary. THat way you’ll be thinking more in English and not your native language. Thanks for watching!

    Jon

thank a lot…..

carolinamustaon

funny about burning pancakes..we have joke here – you have not choice or internet or scorched sausages :-)

galyna

can I do this without blueberry???there is no blueberry in brazil.

elci

Yes you can =), in my country we make it plain without any additions. After cooking the pancake we put honey over it.

    m552200

      thanks!!!

      elci

You are welcome =) and any time

        m552200

Yes. You can sue pretty much anything. Your mangos are great so I recommend that you cook the pancakes and then put the mangos on after, once they are cooked.

    Jon

      thank you !!! jon

      elci

omg.. i thought u’re using another idiom/expression.. i was searching this ‘sue’ hint from idioms dictionary, when suddenly i just realized that it’s just a miss-typed of ‘use’.. LOL.. silly me..!!!

      gimmehunny

Well done! I’ll try to cook those pancakes with blueberris, may be with cranberries too. A TASTY DREAM! but not every day, they’ve got many calories. But the explanation is nice and artistic.Good luck. From Russia with RESPECT!

olga2011

    mmm… tasty dream… yes… <3

hah =) i figure all russian girls like to count calories and not to eat after 6 pm =) that’s why a lot of them are very slim or skinny and hungry all the time =)))

Thank you for excellent lesson.I knew some new words, very useful. In the Russia we are making pancakes too,but sometimes we can use(like me example) raisins instead berries (very healthy too, then you still can not put there sugar at all if you count calories :) ) and instead sirup we are put there milk-cream(not much fat too),eat-hot! Very testy.Bon appetit.:)

Hi Jon.
Thanks for the lesson. I’ve just eaten so don’t really want any pancake. But blueberries…mmmm…I love it.
Have a ? for you. You said ‘spatula can be made FROM plastic’. I’ve been taught that we should say ‘made of smth’ and it’s a common Russian students’ mistake to say ‘made from’ because it sounds exactly the same in Russian. Is it colloquial? Thanks again)
