Hello everyone.
Unfortunatelly phrasal verbs are very difficult to understand for me. Often we don’t have a way to remember it and must learn by heart
It’s just time, patience, and practice Selobir. Keep at it.;)

When I was in elementary school, I was afraid to speak up. But then I grew. Now in college, I’m one of those students that often ask anything in classes.
That’s great Astri. Never be afraid :)
Thanks a lot Adam! This lesson’s quiz isn’t so simple comparing to others. Number 9 with Jim is not so obvious :) … failed here.
Sometimes you need to look at other clues, Mad-Max:
goes through it- what is it?
looks it over- what is it?
turns over- he turns over doesn’t really work, so all that is left is pick things (general topics) up
Hope this helps.

Hi there. Can I get help regarding how to make an application for submitting it to the colleges in the US?
You’ve made some very inappropriate comments on other teachers’ lessons…so no.
That’s a big topic. You will need to write an essay, a statement of purpose, or a statement of intent, plus a resume, and fill out an application. Go to the college’s website and find out what they want you to submit. You can then do a Google search to see samples of how to do this. If you want a company to help you apply, keep in mind that the fee is not cheap.
I hope this helps you get started.
thanks

1.I cannot show up the class for this term ,please stop my class.
2.I cannot attend the class for this term ,please stop my class.
I want know this sentence ,I should use (show up )or (attend) which vere is correct
7/10. thank u ADAM .
Oops

If you fail to turn up for school on time, you may make up some excuse. For instance, you may say that you missed the bus and ran to catch up. While you were running, you dropped your handout, it fell on a puddle, soaked wet, and now you have to start over. Fortunately, a taxi picked you up on your way to school. Now that you have finally arrived, you give promise that you will go through your text book and do your homework asap. Then the teacher replies that you don’t have to speak up, she/he would rather you signed up for an acting school and, eventually, lets you in.
Have fun, everybody!
Hi Adam!
I don’t get how to use the prepositions at the end of a sentence and questions.
Could you please make a video about this please ? I think it will help a lot to us English learners.
Thank you in advance !
Thanks Adam,
Now I can speak up in any educational context!
Thank you Adam, very useful
Smart students who pick up things rapidly can easily read up on the the missed lessons or at least go through them to make up for them and catch up with their classmates.
Thanks Adam .
A splendid lecture.
But I wanna make two suggestions –
1. You could have write “catch” twice. Once for each phrasal verb.
2. You need to work a lot on your presentation. Proper spacing and numbering are the must.
Kindly let me know your opinion, even if you are not willing to make above change.
Hello, Adam) Thank you for you lesson! I have a stupid question: what difference is between “catch up” and “make up” in 8? I chose “make up”)
QUIZ 10/10 CORRECT. THANK YOU A LOT MR. ADAM.
