hi, as far as i know i can help you.Root word is the main word and prefix and suffix are made with root. when we add any letter to ahead of root word it is called prefix.for example metaphysical. in this case physical is the root word and the meta is prefix. in the same way when we add any letter at the end of the word its called suffix. for example photophobia. here photo is a root word and phobia is suffix. thanks to you all. correct me if i am wrong.

Some of people who live in this country are involved with government , so they are very loaded . We can say that they have been making a killing by this relation.
On the other hand , genarility of the people live in this country are hand to mouth . They have been learning how to make ends meet.Everthing is arm and a leg for these people who are trying to live as humans.And in this country All bosses are penny pinchers.
Finally we must pray for GOD to give the people who aren’t loaded a hand.I’m sick and tired of imagining this kind of country.

I’d been watching your videos fo about three weeks, and i found it very intersting, beacuse all expressions you’ve been tackled particularly in this video are very useful for daily conversation.
I have a question madam, i hope you will help me on this. i am confused when i’m using the expression “make ends meet” in future tense. ex: ( my contract in my company will be finished by december, so i would probably have a hard time to ‘make my ends meet’/ ‘cover my needs’.
which one is more appropriate to use:
1) to make my ends meet. or
2)to cover my needs.

Hi Valen, You give an example saying ” My new car cost me an arm and a leg…..” My English teacher taught me to put a “s” to the verb when it comes to third person singular. or put “ed” if it is a past tense. I am a little confused.
Hi, Dear Jack! Actually the word “cost” is used here as a Past verb so there is no need to ad ‘s’ with it. cause if you check verb forms, It is: cost-cost-cost. thanks

pinnies it is a word representing the building unit,the smallest unit of any currency, near to the meaning of cents and piasters.
