Thank you Emma. I was very interested in the topic. My grandson who was a nursing assistant in retirement homes in France immigrated to Canada for a year starting in September. He will share this year with his student companion who will study a year in Quebec thanks to the Erasmus program. They seems really satisfied to live there and he immediately found a job in a restaurant. Unfortunatly, he won’t be autorised to practise the job he is qualified for because of the “red tape”. Shame….

Great topic. I move to Nova Scotia from Japan two years ago. Things Emma explains in this video accord with what I have experienced and witnessed last two years as an immigrant to Canada. I agree with Emma, saying having enough money when arriving at Canada is necessary and important. That said, there are plenty of resources especially in the city that immigrants can make use of. Getting access to information and networking are also the key things to do in the first years of immigration process. All in all, I would say Canada is a wonderful country full of nature and welcoming people and I love living here.

Emma Thanks a lot for the great content. However I still have one question, what is the approach to immigrants from the officials ? Do they encourage people to move to Canada or do they try to identify and deport them back to their native countries ? or are they just neutral in this case and let immigrants stay in the country and try their best ?
