Understand ROAD SIGNS in the UK & North America
If you’ve ever received a parking fine or ticket, you know just how important it is to understand road signs. If you are planning on driving in the UK, North America, or Australia, you will need to learn what signs mean because they may differ from what you are used to. Luckily, I am here to help you avoid fines and also avoid being killed! In this lesson, we will look at the basics of road, street, and parking signs. I will teach you the meaning ofno through road, no trespassing, no return within..., no loading, permit holders only, no loitering, and more. I will also show you the meaning of the colours and shapes of road signs, including the signs for right of way, hazard ahead, low bridge, sharp turn, and the stop sign. Finally, we will discuss basic safety rules you must follow for everyone’s safety.

Well, a successful quiz that I have answered because I haven’t had any failure. This lesson has been amazing and fun for me, actually working in public transport by road in a country like Malta where the
…road signs are basically the same than in the UK. I have understood almost all the expressions of our teacher Benjamin in this lesson although he talked about some topics with jargon and with his British Devonian accent, a little fast, but not faster than others like ATCOs or Air Traffic Control Operators. Thanks a lot teacher Benjamin, it has been a very interesting and enjoyable lesson as always, with an authentic challenging in the quiz.
