i know that when one turn a assertive sentence into negative one should change the structure of the sentence keeping the same meaning. But here at no.
( 7. Turn the following sentence into a negative sentence:
George is being rude.
George is being not rude.
George is not being rude.
George isn’t be rude.

I didn’t understand why the answer is ‘George isn’t being rude’ instead of ‘George isn’t rude’?

    “George is/isn’t being rude” and “George is/isn’t rude” can have slightly different meanings.

    “George is/isn’t rude” can mean “George is a rude person”. He didn’t just do something rude once, he’s rude all the time, or rude in general.

    “George is being rude” doesn’t have that meaning. It just means George said or did something rude right now (or is currently saying/doing it).
