Good Morning, Teacher (professor) Emma. and supossedly student and teacher learning.

( in the culture in the U.S.A and Canada is not correct use Title, profession with the last name). The lesson with name : how to make people understand you or A quick & easy way to make people understand you.

I understand you.

But, I believe, and practice the next example:

If someone making (do) a display as topic (school) and showing the display in public in the same time talking.

First, there is a listener in the public and say: I am sorry , I do not understand you.
Then the person making or (doing) the display as topic , should say:

Excuse me,I have a question for the next person which is the public.

Remember is important in other culture the courtesy,even so many people do not practice, including all of you trying to learn english language, is easy to mention the score. But,
what about from your example typing in the comment?
that is not polite.

I would recommend to all of you to put in practice your understanding from this lessons.
Let see if you can be a normal, human and good student for others.
