My question is out of the lesson.
The subject: expressions of quantity
When we say:
twice as many, half as much
What do these expressions mean?
Explain to me mathimatically, please!
These phrases came from the examples:
Job-sharing would give twice as many people a bite of the cherry.
‘Is that enough?’ ‘No, I’d like half as much again, please.’
What is the difference between these 3 words as a person, national, citizen, and subject?
Thank you very much Mrs Rebecca, I completely got the entire meaning of these idioms, Have a good health !
I watched this video twice on December 10, 2021, and took the quiz after watching it once. I got nine correct out of 10.
This one got me! I need to practice more with these sentences.
Thanks a lot Rebecca. You are really amazing. (Azores Islands, 04Aug2022);
