    The expression “how do you do?” is not used much in North America at all; in England, usually it is used the first time you meet someone. If you are in doubt about this phrase, just use “How are you?” when meeting someone after the first time. My best wishes to you!

Well, I marked “reading books” and this answer wasn’t accepted. I think is not the same reading books that reading recipes or reading magazines, isn’t it?

    The correct answer was just “reading” because the other two in the sentence were “gardening” and “swimming”, so you need to be consistent. You don’t need to add an extra word like “books” to that sentence. My best wishes to you!

    No, actually, your first sentence follows the rule of 3, but the second one does not. If you wanted to follow the magic of 3, you could also say

    Your lesson was not difficult, confusing or complex.

Hi Rebecca~ Magic of 3 is very useful. I understand the logic of “Magic of 3” but I don’t know how to replace appropriate words.
Grateful if you could give me suggestion to modify part of my self-introduction as following.

“I believe the field experience has equipped me well in terms of emotional quotient, integrity, sense of loyalty and unity. While working at the Transport Department, the experience allows me a deeper understanding of procurement, risk assessment and government culture. Such training on critical thinking, communication and leadership skills will help me in my service in Fire Service Department.”

I’m very interested in knowing the differences between Canadian Accent and American one ,all I know about this is that Canadians usually tend to use “eh” instead of using question tag , and that they pronounce words like (House , about , South ,..etc) differently, can you please make a video about this ? You know all the videos on Youtube that cover this subject are made by non-professionals and sometimes the information they provide is not true . so it would be helpful to have some videos that are prepared by professionals .
