what this mean “match”?
Thanks

Hoanghunghht

Hi — the word “match” is mentioned in the video, with two different meanings :-)

    Gill

actually, i know a third meaning. when two things fight, most likely people, it’ called a match. am i right?

      akashpatel

I think the word match has mean is : tran dau in vietnamese. but it has mean is: diem in vietnamese.
when you need light of fire.

in this lesson I met new vocabulary but because of my knowledge as a beginner I realized I need to know more words. What is the easiest way to learn more vocabulary?

CART

Hello Gill! I love your pronunciation! Thanks for an interesting and useful lesson. My vocabulary allowed me to understand every word but I have to say that your illustrations are very clear. Also I discovered the origin of the word “плуг” (“plug” or maybe “ploog”, I’m not sure about transcription) in Ukrainian and Russian languages, which is translated as “plough” and has the same meaning.
