long weekend, catch up on, run errands, get up to, catch up on, binge, TGIF, and brunch. We will talk about how to ask and answer questions about the weekend. Finally, we will talk about North American weekend culture. If you find this class useful, watch one of my other videos with Audra next, like this one on talking about the future.

Thank u soo much I like the way u explain XD
Emma, I would like to make a remark pertaining to the sixth question. The question says “What does it mean to run errands?”. The correct answer was “To do the tasks outside of the house”. What caught my interest was something your good-looking sister Audra mentioned. She said “I do have some errands to do when I get home, I will be doing laundry”. Isn’t that the task that is performed inside the house? I look forward to getting clarification from you. Thank you in advance.
Hi Marko. In North America, it’s very common for people to pay to have their clothes washed outside their homes. There are places throughout cities where you can pay to use washing machines. That’s probably what Audra meant.
Emma, thank you for your lesson. I always enjoy your video to learn some words, sentences and so on in English. In the latter half, there is the conversation lessen. It is a little bit difficult for me because of natural speed talking. I thought I needed to improve listening skill. Anyway I am looking forward to meeting with you next lesson. As I forget the contents, I will see this lesson repeatedly.
Thanks Emma for your class. Good idea to bring your sister.
