Is it taking you a long time to learn English? You’re not alone. The hard truth is that you need a combination of opportunity, motivation, and ability to learn a new language. Are you in a good learning environment? Are you motivated to learn? Do you know what your strengths and weaknesses are? These are some of the fundamental questions you should ask yourself before you decide if NOW is a good time for you to learn a second or third language. And there is good news for people who think they are “not good at learning languages.” Even if you are older or not as strong at grammar or speaking as other learners, a good environment and strong motivation can still help you learn just as fast or faster than other people. Remember: We all have our strengths and weaknesses. It’s what we do with that knowledge that is important. This is a long description because this is a delicate and important topic. I want people to watch this video and not feel frustrated, but to feel informed and empowered to make good decisions about their English learning journey. So, watch the video, leave a comment, and I’ll do my best to reply.

Dear Alex,
I truly appreciate the free English lessons that you and your team have shared with learners around the world. They have meant a great deal to me and have helped me achieve my goals in a relatively short time through http://www.engvid.com.
Actually, nobody specifically told me to use this website. One day, I accidentally watched one of Rebecca’s videos on YouTube. During the lesson, she mentioned EngVid and encouraged viewers to visit the website for more lessons. Out of curiosity, I visited the site and started exploring its content.
Over the next two years, I watched almost every video uploaded by your amazing teachers. Thanks to these lessons, my English improved dramatically. When I first came to Kazakhstan to pursue my master’s degree, my English was not strong enough to communicate confidently with my professors. Today, I can communicate with them comfortably in English, and I successfully defended my master’s thesis.
Of course, my friends and professors also encouraged and supported me throughout this journey, and I am grateful to them as well. However, EngVid played a major role in my success.
I recently completed my master’s degree in Kazakhstan. I am originally from Kabul, Afghanistan, and I have always been passionate about improving my knowledge and language skills. The fact that EngVid provides such high-quality education free of charge is incredibly valuable, especially for students who may not have access to expensive courses.
Thank you and the entire EngVid team for creating such an amazing learning environment and for helping millions of learners like me around the world.
With sincere gratitude,
