Well, Thank you so much Ms. jade!
It was really a very helpful lesson about how and where to use idioms, however I’ve even scored 100 out of 100 points..

I have one question ..

When you mentioned in your example “Nelly told me she was going to have triplets, I was so stunned and shocked that you could have _______.
The answer here is (to hear a pin drop)
But I think It doesn’t make any sense here, does it?????

Why not? Shock and awe can look exactly so))

Good Afternoon Jade.Congratulation on your vídeos. They are really helpful.

I am teaching advanced students in Brazil and I have been trough a big issue recently.Find bellow some sentences that I want to explain them using grammar point.Students must rewrite these sentence as follow:

We received the News that we had awaited for so long.
We received the long-awaited News.

Se the example.Which grammar topic shoud I explain about?

See another example:

That landscape took my breath away.
A spider is na insect that has eight legs.
He is dating girl that has blue eyes.
The teacher’s mind open to learning new things.

How should I rewrite these sentences properly using the pattern above?

I really appreciate if you help me out.

Thank you so much in advance.

    Hi Marcos
i hope she will respond on your questions To be honest sometimes i get confused of these kind of rules . We wait to see her answer as soon as possible . good lock in ur job .

    Profile photo of moh.engvid moh.engvid

Hey bro, nice to meet you. As a fanatic of English language, it sounds like this wolud be passive voice. For instance, in the sentence of the landscape, I would answer: ‘ My breath was taken away by that landscape’ I hope you get the point, cuz I didn’t see Jane’s aswer.
    Cheers from Argentina.

I sense that you, Jade, develop your knowledge in NLP – auditry digit type of people was absent in your previous lesson about “how to learn english depending on your preferentional type of consuming information”)) Admittedly NLP seems to me like cheating my friends and kin. I mean, if you study it thoroughly. On the other hand it was awesome class – idioms, introductory phrases and very funny pronounciation made my day.. or night))

If you want to learn the English language easily, do these steps gradually:
    1- Listen
    2- Speak
    3- Read
    4- Write
These four steps are logical to learn any language; we all learn the mother (first) language by these steps. Have a good day..

Hi Mrs Jade,
I am glad to see you again. However, recently I have seen your new video which is about Language and The Senses basically on that something grabbed my attention . I would like to mention that on that you say we use past tenses like “taught” and future clause in First conditional but I learned that for First Conditions we should use: If+ any presents + Future clause .
I would be pleased if I hearing from you as soon as you received this message.

The British accent is the best. You do not understand her because she speaks with a fast way, so she must speak slowly, because we are learner.

thanks a lot Jade.
I wonder, if you(engvid) are going to make audio recources. (engauid);)
i have to drive one and a half hour a day at least, and i am listening eng. while driving. At the result got the highest score from listening exam among 100 people.
and I am looking for eng audio with high quality, for advanced learners, which may help me to learn idioms, phrasal versb, build vocabulary, listen to diferent appropriate topics, even grammar by listening.(appropriate = topics that can be asked during ielts exams)
6 min eng is my favorite one, but it is not difficult for me anymore.
By the way your speech is the hardest one, among your counterparts, that is why i am listening to you more time by time, for geting better listening skill ;)
