I have watched all of your lessons. they all are interesting and well delivered. But i have question regarding time. In lesson “How to express time?” can we use ‘it’ with ‘a quarter after five’ for exp: it is a quarter after five. And can we say a half after five or a quarter to after five?

Expressing Time in English

I think any time give an example in the use of examples:
At 6:45 you say aquarter to six , but the true aquarter to seven.
i’m from indonesia, i’m still studying english. i’m planing going to US, for get the job as asisten nurse.
