Hi. I found out in my Dictinory Oxford that Must is just used for the present tense, but in your video you say it can be used for past as well. could you help me to clarify that, thanks a lot.
Sorry to confuse you Dina. “Must” is used for the present tense.
I think that “must” word you can’t change the meaning and can not also change a tenses …

I have some grammar questions and I don’t know who to ask, also I think you are really good at explaing so I thought it would be great if you could answer my quesitons.
1)when do we use ‘is’ and ‘does’?
forexample, isn’t this good? doesn’t this feel good?
I don’t know which one to uset when I make quesions.
2) I am not sure when to put ‘the’ in front of the places.
When we are talking about places, sometimes you put the, and sometimes you don’t put it. so I am very confused.
3) When do we use would, and could?
I know they are past tense verbs. will-would, can-could
but we also use it to show the possibilities.

I frequent hear this at school ” There’s a meeting after the class. Attendance is a must”. So it definitely mean that we must attend the meeting because its mandatory. It doesn’t mean ” Attendance is prohibited”. Now I know the reason why, I thought I need to attend the meeting because your presence was recorded. Haha
