English is a key to the world. At least it has been for me. I’ve taught English for over 12 years, in North America, Asia, and the Middle East, to students from a wide range of cultures and perspectives. I have helped many students get their hands on this key and watched them open doors that would have otherwise remained locked. There is no greater pleasure for a teacher than to see his students succeed in realizing their dreams, be they traveling, working in a foreign country, or something as simple as being able to watch a Hollywood movie or TV sitcom without the use of subtitles.
I now specialize in test preparation instruction (TOEIC/TOEFL/IELTS/SAT/GRE/GMAT) and work as well as a freelance editor. I love the English language and know that it is more than a key to the outside world—it is also a key to the inside of individual minds. I am currently working on my Master’s thesis, a project that I hope will evolve into my first novel, because I want to share what is in my mind while I explore the thoughts of others. This ability to share is what English provides me. I hope I can help you do the same and find the key to whatever doors stand in the way of your own dreams.
Good luck to both of us. :)
