Test your understanding of this English lesson

Test your understanding of the English lesson by answering these questions. You will get the answers and your score at the end of the quiz.
When you first meet your interviewer, in most cases a little polite ________ occurs.

If you are being interviewed by a British company, which topic of small talk would you not expect to talk about when you first meet your interviewer?

When answering interview questions, it's a good idea to summarise and talk about only your most relevant work experience so that the interviewer doesn't __________.

Interviewer: "How would you deal with an angry customer?"
Interviewee: "First of all, ____________."

"My greatest strength _____________. However, over the years I have learnt to balance this with the need to get the job done."

"My organisational skills are my greatest strength. However, at times the unexpected may happen at work -- in which case I _________."

Interviewer: "Why do you want to work here?"
Interviewee: "It's my _________ to manage a sales team in the technology sector."

Towards the end of a job interview, you are typically expected to ask your own question about the job. Which topic is probably not a good idea to ask a question about?

“How would you deal with an angry customer?” I would apologise to the customer.

Really? And what is the customer has it all wrong? The customer is king, but not the emporer.

“I would tell the customer to relax.” That sounds more like it if you ask me. Take it from there.

Thanks for excellent examples. The advices are really useful.
I just want to share two more questions that I was asked in interview. It were tricky ones))
‘What do you see yourself doing 5 and 10 years from now?’ (As HR told me, the right answer depends on personality with whom you have the interview. But better to convince that you have particular plans in your brain)
And
‘How much money do you need to make to be happy?’ (No philosophical thoughts, they really wanted to know the quantity of money)
