    hi rebecca .... i wounder if you could explain the word though ......... how to use it and when to use and what is it mean exactly.

    'Though' and 'although' can be used in various ways.

    They are used to show contrast and sometimes function like the word 'but'. We can use it when we want to show that there is a contrast between what we are saying in one part of the sentence and in the other. For example:

    Though it rained, we went on a picnic.

    We can also use it to contrast what was said in an earlier sentence, as below:

    It rained. We went on a picnic, though.
    She's not very pretty. I really like her, though.
