How to make listening better on the TOEFL ibt exam?

    Hi,
    I find your video lessons very helpful, thank you James and Rebecca!
    please can you explain me how to listen TOEFL ibt effectively. Do you have like kind of formula?

    Hi Focuslinza

    In the beginning, it may be helpful to follow the tapescripts at the back of the TOEFL guidebooks if you feel really confused by the listening. Then start with the conversational listening passages first before you go on to the lectures. Mark which kind of questions you usually get wrong and then focus on improving your response to that particular type of question. Information on different types of listening questions is given in most of the better TOEFL guidebooks like Delta and Barron's. Also read over the listening tips at http://www.goodlucktoefl.com.
