'Though' and 'although' can be used in various ways.

They are used to show contrast and sometimes function like the word 'but'. We can use it when we want to show that there is a contrast between what we are saying in one part of the sentence and in the other. For example:

Though it rained, we went on a picnic.

We can also use it to contrast what was said in an earlier sentence, as below:

It rained. We went on a picnic, though.
She's not very pretty. I really like her, though.

Hope this helps, husam.

One goes through many stages in speaking a language. It depends on so many different factors, including what's going on in your life in general. Sometimes we speak in simple sentences, and sometimes more complex ones.

If you'd like to use complex vocabulary more effectively, you could undertake a systematic program of vocabulary study, through books, magazines, websites, news programs, newspapers, etc. Make sure you do something active, like making sentences with the new words, or else they will remain in your passive vocabulary only. You could also check any of the most popular media websites such as BBC, which has special ESL sections which help you to understand vocabulary related to the daily news. This makes sense, and also enables you to speak about what's going on in the world, which makes your learning more practical and relevant.

Good for you that you care enough to want to improve. All the best to you and let me know how it goes.

Hi Rebecca,
I have learned English for 7 years . I can speak quite fluently but suddenly I realize that I only say baby words .You know words i use are very simple , very common and basic . And that the reason why i always talk about anything with a long sentence even in that case can use a short sentence with effective vocabularies . And there are many things I cant express . My question is how to use complex and advanced words when speaking naturally .
I hope u will response .
Thank you so much

To bring means to carry something towards the speaker.

To take means to carry something away from the speaker.

Fetch is like bring.

'Can you get me some tea?' means can you go there, collect the tea and bring it back here to me.

To conclude, at last, to sum up, in brief... etc.

Will you be able to provide this kinda words and the pattern on writing through a video ASAP?

After watched the video "How to Learn English More Effectively" -> http://www.engvid.com/how-to-learn-english-more-effectively , I was thinking, How could I remember what I studied today, to study tomorrow, next week and next month,
at the first moment I thought to buy a Notepad, but to me it's really hard to take note of all english lessons I am studying, at this time I remember of my email from Gmail (I don't work at google :p), and there is a tool called "Calendar", there you can create events that you can choose when they you warn you, this could be schedule to be sent to you by email, the day you want following the rule that James perfect explained to us, and this events could be repeated or not as you want, this way you won't forgot to study some lesson. I think it's the easier way to manage the things we are leaning using that method. Sorry if either I did some mistakes or this don't make any sense but my english it's not advanced yet(I am still working on it), I hope that this help . For any question please send me an email:marcos.sousa@gmail.com, and to know how "Calendar" works access "http://www.google.com/calendar", you must have an gmail account to use it..I think it worths...

Actually, Husam and Karen92, you'll be happy to know there is no Structure section anymore on the TOEFL iBT. The Structure section existed in the older TOEFL CBT - the Computer Based Test. In most parts of the world, you can only take the TOEFL iBT - Internet Based Test - now and I hope that is the case for you. If you do still need to do the older exam in your country, then you will have to focus on detailed aspects of grammar and do as many practice tests as possible. First check which TOEFL exam you need to do!
