It was really a very helpful lesson about how and where to use idioms, however I’ve even scored 100 out of 100 points..

I have one question ..

When you mentioned in your example “Nelly told me she was going to have triplets, I was so stunned and shocked that you could have _______.
The answer here is (to hear a pin drop)
But I think It doesn’t make any sense here, does it?????

Good Afternoon Jade.Congratulation on your vídeos.They are really helpful.

I am teaching advanced students in Brazil and I have been trough a big issue recently.Find bellow some sentences that I want to explain them using grammar point.Students must rewrite these sentence as follow:

We received the News that we had awaited for so long.
We received the long-awaited News.

Se the example.Which grammar topic shoud I explain about?

See another example:

That landscape took my breath away.
A spider is na insect that has eight legs.
He is dating girl that has blue eyes.
The teacher’s mind open to learning new things.

How should I rewrite these sentences properly using the pattern above?

I really appreciate if you help me out.

Hey bro, nice to meet you. As a fanatic of English language, it sounds like this wolud be passive voice. For instance, in the sentence of the landscape, I would answer: ‘ My breath was taken away by that landscape’ I hope you get the point, cuz I didn’t see Jane’s aswer.

“It looks like” same as “It sounds like”. However, the first one is “Visual” and the second one is “Auditory”.

I wonder, if you(engvid) are going to make audio recources. (engauid);)
i have to drive one and a half hour a day at least, and i am listening eng. while driving. At the result got the highest score from listening exam among 100 people.
and I am looking for eng audio with high quality, for advanced learners, which may help me to learn idioms, phrasal versb, build vocabulary, listen to diferent appropriate topics, even grammar by listening.(appropriate = topics that can be asked during ielts exams)
6 min eng is my favorite one, but it is not difficult for me anymore.
By the way your speech is the hardest one, among your counterparts, that is why i am listening to you more time by time, for geting better listening skill ;)
