    Yep! I agree Adalberto, excellent lesson; although I think we both need to go over the lesson to better our score.

    Phrasal verbs are not that easy, to tell the truth.

Hello, thank you Alex I love your lessons ! Clear. Is ther a technical memno to remember those phrasal verbs ? I mix them because I have difficulty integrating their meaning if I learn by heart. I well remember the sense of ” up”, ” in”, ” around” but ” Hang ” alone I can not .

Hi Alex and thanks for your teaching. May I ask about the following clause? “When an apple and a potato of the same weight are compared.” Could you explain why “of” was used or for what in this sentence ? Because “of” is used to state possessive not adjective. :)

hang out = spend time
hang around = simillar to hang out but has more meaning of wasting time
hang in = continue to survive, fight, endure(?)
hang on someone’s word = pay attendtion to what someone says

It’s very useful lesson. These phrases are used very often in casual life and the movies. As for me, Alex speaks understandable. He finds good examples. Besides, he sets the verb ‘hang’ in different time-forms: hang-hung-hung. He has a good head on the shoulders :) I appreciate.
